The Biggest Membrane Structure in Turkey

ONART has succesfully completed the membrane roof of Saime Kadın Amphitheater which is the biggest “single piece” membrane structure in Turkey and handed it over to the customer on 16th October, 2007.
This glant structure, of which design, engineering and erection have been achieved by ONART, has demonstrated that ONART has sufficient know-how, experience and infastructure of design-fabrication for a structure at such a scale.
A high frequency membrane welding of 4 km and steel cable of approximately 1km are used in the structure. The highest evelation of the structure is at +27m level.
The First Turkish Member of TensiNet

ONART is the first Turkish member of the Network for Tensile Structures in Europe in the Manufacturer and Fabricator Category. This Professional network provides an infastructure to encourage the solidarity by sharing the knowledge and experience between the members.
This consortium, which was financed by European Union between 2001 and 2004 and formed by 22 organisations from 9 EU member countries, aims at sharing of knowledge between multi-disciplinary industries, universities and other associations.
ONART as a member of TensiNet continues its operations having a clear conception of it’s increased responsibilities.
ONART’s Seminars on Textile Architecture

ONART has presented another seminar in the series of informative and training seminars onTensile Membrane Systems. The seminar was presented on 7th March, 2007 in the Yükselis Conference Room at Gazi University and appreciated by the audience formed by the teaching members and architects.
Total number of seminars on “Textile Architecture: Design and Application” has now reached to 5.

ONART Relocated to Its New Facilities

ONART relocated to its new facilities opposite to Bornova Koctas. Large production area at the new facility provided a competitive advantage in carrying out the projects effectively. Fabrication of larger projects are now possible at much ease on the new production ground.
ONART Continues to Invest

Performing its operations in the construction sector since 1994, Onart continues to make investments despite the ongoing global crisis. Continuing to make investments this year, Onart presented “Onart Atılım 2010” project to the KOBİ financial support program under the supervision of İZKA (Izmir Development Agency – www.izka.org.tr) which aims to foster the collaboration between institutions, enable the efficient use of resources and decreasing the development discrepancies in the region and the project is qualified to benefit from the financial aid. Intending to increase its competitive advantage with this project, Onart holds the proper pride of being able to supply its customers a better service.
